As an Associate in the Business and Commercial Ltigation Department, Ms, Gowda represents businesses and individuals in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters, including financial, contract, business, employment, securities, and fiduciary related disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Gowda served as a law clerk for the Honorable Mark W. Crooks of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County. During law school, Chaitra was a member of the Business Law Program at University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and served as an Articles Editor on Maryland's Journal for Business and Technology Law. She spent the 2014 summer working as a student attorney with the law school's General Practice Clinic where she assisted in landlord-tenant matters and provided free legal consultation to Baltimore City local residents two days each week. Chaitra was a law clerk at Blumenthal, Delavan, Powers & Palmer, P.A. from June 2015 through December 2017. Chaitra's focus at BDPP was primarily on land use and zoning but she also assisted in a few general civil litigation matters.
