Ilona Shparaga is an associate in the Business and Commercial Litigation Department. She represents businesses and individuals in all types of civil litigation, including financial, contract, business, trust and estates, employment, construction, and securities related disputes. Ms. Shparaga also advises on matters relating to contract interpretation, labor and employment, sexual discrimination, fiduciary duties, forced buyouts, and other corporate issues.

Before joining Silverman Thompson, Ms. Shparaga served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Sherrie R. Bailey of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County. Ms. Shparaga graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2017, where she served as a staff editor of the University of Baltimore Law Review and was a distinguished scholar of the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society. Ms. Shparaga received her undergraduate degree in psychology summa cum laude from the University of Baltimore in 2014.
