Marshall Henslee is a partner at Silverman Thompson with more than 25 years as a litigator in complex criminal defense cases in both state and federal courts. Prior to joining the firm, he was the managing partner of Henslee & Gordon LLC for seven years and a solo practitioner for 14 years. Before that time, he was an associate at a law firm in Louisiana, where he practiced civil and criminal litigation. Mr. Henslee specializes in defending his clients with the utmost integrity, intellect and understanding.
Mr. Henslee’s work spans the full spectrum of criminal cases, including DUIs, drug cases, crimes of violence, white collar crimes, sex offenses, homicides, and federal conspiracy cases. He represents clients from a variety of backgrounds, including athletes, politicians, attorneys, doctors, veterinarians, finance executives, truck drivers, teachers, civil servants and business owners. Often, other attorneys will ask Mr. Henslee to join as co-counsel to benefit from his experience and expertise.
Mr. Henslee has been named a Super Lawyer every year since 2021, an honor reserved for the top five percent of attorneys in the state. He has also been selected as a Top Attorney in Maryland by Baltimore Magazine. He is a member of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys’ Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the National College for DUI Defense. He has been quoted in The Baltimore Sun, The Baltimore Banner, The Washington Post, and The New York Times, and is interviewed on multiple news shows.
Mr. Henslee is a regular guest lecturer in criminal justice classes at Towson University, has taught law classes at Goucher College and Baltimore County Community College and has conducted symposiums at local high schools about policing and citizens’ rights.
As a Louisiana native, Mr. Henslee continues to root for the Saints and Tigers but has learned to love the Ravens and Orioles.
