Environmental Law

We utilize our experience with federal and state environmental and natural resources law, and relationships with regulators at EPA, the US Army Corps of Engineers, and the Maryland Department of the Environment and Department of Natural Resources, to assist our clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Partner Bill Sinclair has taught Natural Resources Law at the University of Maryland School of Law for close to a decade. Before moving to Baltimore, he practiced for five years with the oldest firm in the country to focus solely on environmental law.

Silverman Thompson attorneys have significant experience with litigation arising under federal and state statutes and regulations governing the protection of the environment and natural resources, including cases under the Clean Water Act, CERCLA, RCRA, and NEPA. Our environmental experience covers cases in federal and state courts; matters before federal and state administrative tribunals; and EPA enforcement actions.

Our Environmental Practice Group is headed by Bill Sinclair.
