Hayley Cassedy

Hayley Cassedy is an associate at Silverman Thompson, where she maintains a broad-based practice representing clients in complex civil and criminal matters in Maryland state and federal courts. Her work frequently intersects high-stakes civil disputes and criminal defense work, allowing her to guide clients through parallel proceedings, internal investigations, and sensitive, fast-moving situations with precision and care.  

Ms. Cassedy consistently second-chairs simultaneous criminal trials. She also has experience supporting complex civil litigation cases involving breach of contract, business disputes, and matters arising within the firm’s alternative finance and securities practices. 

This dual exposure to both civil and criminal proceedings informs her approach to helping clients navigate all facets of the legal system, enabling her to anticipate how developments in one arena may impact another.
