Complex Civil Litigation Attorneys Based in Baltimore
Complex Civil Litigation
Silverman Thompson routinely represents individuals and companies on both sides of the aisle in a wide array of complex litigation in federal and state courts across the country. We also provide representation during arbitration, helping our clients resolve disputes effectively and achieve outcomes that will protect their interests.
Our sterling reputation has led us to be retained in Maryland and the District of Columbia as local counsel in some of the most important, innovative litigation those locales have seen in the last 20 years. Both locally and abroad, our skill, experience, and willingness to try cases have given clients sufficient comfort to trust us with the prosecution or defense of sophisticated litigation.
We provide representation in class actions, cases involving the United States or Maryland Constitution, or multi-district litigation (MDL) matters. The results of these cases can not only have a meaningful impact on the bottom lines of our clients, but they also can have an impact on society at large. We take these responsibilities seriously, and we fight to secure favorable outcomes for our clients while protecting the interests of the general public.

The types of cases we have handled include:

Local Counsel Matters
We have helped national companies handle issues in courts in Baltimore and other parts of Maryland, including:

- We defended a Global Fortune 100 company in climate change cases in Baltimore and Anne Arundel County. Those cases were dismissed, and the dismissals were ultimately upheld by the Supreme Court of Maryland.
